How do I aim and fire?
Put your finger anywhere on the board and drag. The launcher swings to follow, and a dotted line shows where the shot starts out. Let go to fire. If you change your mind, drag back toward the launcher.

What happens after my shot?
When the ball drops out, every beetle steps one row closer to the castle. They usually go straight down and sometimes one lane to the side. Their claw prints show where they came from.
What does the red chevron mean?
That beetle is in the bottom row and will climb onto the castle next turn. Hit it now if you can.
How do I stop beetles on the castle?
Any ball that reaches the castle lands on the wall and rolls along the top, hitting each beetle it passes. The faster it was moving sideways, the farther it rolls. Pegs sitting on a beetle's spot step aside, so a beetle can't hide behind one.
How do special balls work?
Kills and broken copper pegs fill the steam gauge on the left. When it's full, a panel lets you pick a special ball. It goes into an empty slot in the tray, or you pick a slot to swap out. Tap a slot to load that ball, and tap again to go back to ivory. You hold three at most, and each one is used up when fired.
Can I save a full gauge for later?
Yes. Tap Keep for later on the panel. The gauge stays full, and you can tap it any time to open the panel again.
What happens if the castle falls?
You try the same level again, with a full castle and the special balls you had when the level started.
How do I beat a boss?
Aim for the gears on its back, where hits do double damage. Deal with its minions when they get close, because they fall apart when the boss dies. The boss-breaker ball is built for this.
How do I pause?
Tap the pause button at the top of the screen. From there you can resume, open Settings, or go back to the title screen.
What does the full game include?
Levels 1 to 12 are free. One $4.99 purchase unlocks all 36 levels, every boss, and all eight special balls. Tap Settings, then Unlock the full game. On a new phone, use Restore purchases with the same Apple ID.
Can I turn off vibration or start over?
Both are in Settings. Reset progress takes you back to level 1 and clears your special balls. It doesn't affect your purchase.
