Pegs

Brass pegs last all level. Copper pegs break after the shot that hits them, and every one you break adds steam to your gauge.

**Brass, just hit**Flashes gold when the ball strikes it.

**Copper peg**Breakable. Cracks when the ball hits it.

**Copper, hit**Stays lit until the ball drops out.

**Copper, cracked**Pops after the shot and fills your steam gauge.

Top of the board

The launcher

A brass housing with a coiled spring and a cup for the ball. It swings to follow your aim.

Drag anywhere on the board to aim. A dotted line shows the start of the shot.
Let go to fire. The loaded ball sits in the cup, so you can always see what's about to fly.
Tap a tray slot to load a special ball, and tap it again to switch back to ivory.

The castle

Your castle runs along the bottom of the board. Beetles that reach it climb on and chew, and it shows every bit of damage. The castle starts each level fresh.
